Have you ever made the peanut blossom cookies? If yes, do you use butter or shortening?
Hi! I use Shortening for PB Blossoms. You could use butter, but I would get my dough really cold before I bake it. The reason that you use shortening vs. butter is because they melt at different temps. When you use shortening you want the fat to hold out a little longer. Butter melts at a relatively low temp, there for the chilling the dough will help.
